What services does mss offer?

MSS offers evaluations and interventions in the area of speech and language. At this time, sessions are provided on an individual basis. We aspire to offer group sessions and social building groups in the near future.

Who benefits from speech therapy?

We work with many individuals who would benefit from speech therapy. Some areas of need we target include but are not limited to: Apraxia of Speech, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Auditory Impairments, Auditory Processing Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Communication Impairments, Early Intervention, Pragmatic Language Disorders, Speech and Language Disorders, Stuttering and Fluency Disorders, and Voice Disorders.

how do i know if my child needs speech and language therapy?

Call us to inquire and we will discuss the area of concerns that you have, as well as how those concerns could be addressed through speech and language therapy. If warranted, we will schedule an evaluation. The results will help determine if services are recommended within the private practice setting.

where are you located?

At this time, we provide in-office services. Our office is located at 710 Tennent Road in Manalapan, New Jersey within the office of Paint the Stars Art Therapy. We are so thankful to Robyn Spodek-Schindler and her team for housing us and sharing her amazing space.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We work hard to coordinate with families to ensure they can receive appropriate services. In addition to accepting various types of insurance (see below), we accept private pay clients, who wish to pay at the time of service. At this time, cash and check are the preferred method of payment and due at the time of service. Debit cards, credit cards, and FSA cards are available as an option, as well.

do you take my insurance?

MSS accepts a variety of insurance plans. Currently, we are in-network with the following companies: Cigna, Aetna, and Horizon. Although we work with these insurance plans, this is not a guarantee of payment. Please inquire within to find out more about the policies we accept and follow up with your insurance provider to get more information about your plan’s benefits.

what if mss does not accept my INSURANCE?

If we do not currently accept your insurance provider, there are alternative options. You can contact your insurance company directly to see if they accept “out-of-network” providers. Should you have this benefit as part of your plan, you would be asked to pay at the time of visit. Then, we would provide a Superbill that you can independently submit to your insurance and see if the services are reimbursable.
